This book is indispensable. First, it does cover commercially produced toy puppets, so don't try to look up your original Tony Sarg or Frank Paris puppet here. You willfind, though, any toy puppets made by these folks and generally available in the US.
Beautiful color photographs and copies of catalogue sheets make this a reference work that's fun to readas well as great for cross-referencing your collection. Values represent a realistic range as well. This doesn't read like a Beanie Guide book -- it's useful!
